The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) has designated the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency as the implementer of this goal under the objective “Promote energy efficiency, heating and renewable energy sources to decarbonise the energy sector”.
Under the project, which is financed by European funds, initial research activities are being carried out for geothermal energy to be used for heating purposes.
We hereby inform you about the planned geophysical works within the acquisition of 2D seismic and magnetotelluric data for the exploration of geothermal potential in the area of Osijek-Baranja County, the City of Osijek.
Any damages caused by the recording of seismic data will be determined immediately after the completion of the works, and the owners/users of the land will be informed thereof in due time. Claims for compensation will be sent to all owners/users of the plots.
We ask the citizens for their understanding and not to touch the markers and geophones (receivers) set up on the properties as well as other devices in order to avoid damage.
It is planned that the works will be carried out continuously seven days a week from December 2022 to March 2023.
