Geothermal exploration well Velika Gorica GT-1 (VGGT-1)

Preparatory work for the drilling of the geothermal exploration well Velika Gorica GT-1 began in mid-December 2024, and it is expected that the preparatory work for the well site will be completed by the end of February.

The construction of the well site, where the drilling rig will be installed, is progressing according to the planned schedule. The preparation of the well site requires a dynamic interplay of different specialists, machines and equipment, which makes the project execution very dynamic.

Once the construction work has been completed, the drilling rig will be mobilised, and drilling work is expected to begin in early March 2025.
