27.02.2025. As part of its growth, the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE) is delighted to welcome Croatia and Mauritania as new members. This brings the total number of members to 27, representing more than 80% of global GDP and main hydrogen markets.
Rebecca Maserumule, Chair of IPHE, commented on Croatia: “Croatia has several strategic advantages that make it an important player in the hydrogen economy, from its renewable energy potential to its location in Europe’s energy network. By developing hydrogen infrastructure and fostering international collaboration, Croatia could become a key contributor to Europe's clean energy transition.”

In this regard, the Republic of Croatia recognizes the importance of FCH technologies that can enable clean energy systems, enhance energy security, help address EU and national environmental goals, and contribute to economic growth. The Partnership is an important step forward in facilitating the development and deployment of fuel cell and hydrogen (FCH) technologies in the economy. The Republic of Croatia looks forward to engaging and working with the IPHE to better understand the challenges and options in the effective use of fuel cells and hydrogen in the economy."
