The HYDROGEN OPEN 2025 conference was held in Budapest from January 23 to 24, 2025. The conference was organised by the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association.
Vesna Kučan Polak, director of the Business Development and New Technologies Sector at the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency, participated in the panel: Hydrogen valleys and potential projects. She briefly presented the project "North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley", its objectives and its significance for the Republic of Croatia, as well as other important projects in the Republic of Croatia.
Mrs. Kučan Polak also discussed the possibilities of co-financing production, infrastructure and hydrogen use using the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and emphasized the current critical elements in the development of the hydrogen market in the Republic of Croatia.
Panelists from Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Slovakia discussed opportunities for regional cooperation, examples of good practice and the role of the Hydrogen Valleys in Europe's energy transition.
