From May 15 to 17, the 60th Continental Europe Energy Council (CEEC) is taking place in Zagreb. This anniversary gathering brings together stakeholders from the business, scientific, and regulatory sectors involved in hydrocarbons, geothermal energy, hydrogen technologies, carbon dioxide capture and storage and related fields.
CEEC is an association founded in 1994 with the goal of connecting the regional energy community. Today, it has around seventy regular and over one hundred associate members.
At today’s conference, Mr. Marijan Krpan, President of the Management Board of the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency (AZU - CHA), emphasized the importance of energy security and sustainability in times of significant global challenges. Mr. Marijo Galić, Director of the Exploration and Production Sector, presented activities related to hydrocarbon exploration and production in the Republic of Croatia. Ms. Martina Tuschl, Director of the Geothermal Energy Sector, gave an overview of the Agency's ongoing geothermal projects.
The event is supported by INA - Industrija nafte d.d. and the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy.
